Life Cover

What it covers

Provides a lump sum payment if you die or you’re diagnosed with a terminal illness

Your cover and COVID-19

There are no specific exclusions for COVID-19 in any of our policies, so you’re covered against COVID-19 in the same way as for any other illness

How it could help

If you were to die from COVID-19, your family could receive a payment to help them pay off debts, take care of day-to-day expenses or invest for the future

Total Permanent Disability

What it covers

Provides a lump sum payment if you suffer a total and permanent disability

Your cover and COVID-19

There are no specific exclusions for COVID-19 in any of our policies, so you’re covered against a disability caused by COVID-19 in the same way as you would be for any other illness

How it could help

If you were to become permanently disabled as a result of COVID-19, you could receive a payment to take care of expenses and protect your lifestyle

Income Protection

What it covers

Provides a regular income if you can’t work due to sickness or injury (but not unemployment, redundancy or business shutdown)

Your cover and COVID-19

There are no specific exclusions for COVID-19 in any of our policies, so you’re covered against time off work due to COVID-19 in the same way as you would be if you had any other illness

How it could help

If you contracted COVID-19 and were unable to work for longer than the waiting period set by your policy, you could receive a regular monthly payment to help you take care of expenses while you recover

Critical Illness (Trauma)

What it covers

Provides a lump sum payment if you are diagnosed with any of the specific critical illnesses listed in your policy

Your cover and COVID-19

There are no specific exclusions for COVID-19, so you’re covered against any health issues it causes, as long as they involve one of the critical illnesses listed in your policy

How it could help

If you caught COVID-19 and your illness resulted in one of the critical illnesses listed in your policy, you could receive a payment to help you and your family take care of expenses while focusing on treatment and recovery

Business Expenses Insurance

What it covers

Covers common business expenses if you can’t work due to sickness or injury (but not unemployment, redundancy or business shutdown)

Your cover and COVID-19

There are no specific exclusions for COVID-19 in any of our policies, so you’re covered against the effects of COVID-19 in the same way as any other illness

How it could help

If you were to be totally disabled by COVID-19 for longer than the waiting period set by your policy, you could be reimbursed for certain business expenses for up to 12 months

Debt Insurance

What it covers

Helps you cover your home or personal loan payments if you die or if you become disabled, critically ill or involuntarily unemployed (depending on the options you choose)

There are no specific exclusions for COVID-19 in any of our policies, so you’re covered against the effects of COVID-19 in the same way as any other illness

How it could help

If you were to die or become disabled, critically ill or involuntarily unemployed as a result of COVID-19, your insurance could help you and your family cover your repayments for up to four months

Credit card cover, Mortgage Protection and Personal Loan Cover

What it covers

Helps cover your repayments if you die or become disabled, critically ill or involuntarily unemployed (depending on the policy and options you choose)

There are no specific exclusions for COVID-19 in any of our policies, so you’re covered against the effects of COVID-19 in the same way as any other illness

How it could help

If you were to die or become disabled, critically ill or involuntarily unemployed as a result of COVID-19, your insurance could help you and your family cover your repayments for a set period

Premium Waiver

What it covers

An insurance option available with some of our policies that helps cover your premiums if you become involuntarily unemployed

Your cover and COVID-19

There are no specific exclusions for COVID-19 in any of our policies, so you’re covered against COVID-19 in the same way as for any other illness

How it could help

If you were to become involuntarily unemployed due to COVID-19, your normal insurance premiums could be waived, so you could keep your insurance cover while you’re not working (provided you meet the other conditions of your cover)
